XYLAZINE 20
INJECTABLE SOLUTION

XYLAZINE BASE(as HYDROCHLORIDE)                  20 mg

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES:
XYLAZINE 20 includes hydrochloride xylazine , that belongs at a2 adrenergic stimulators. Its action is due to its ability to stimulate the a2 adrenergic receptor. Xylazine is an exquisite and secure tranquillizer and analgetic, if attention is paid to the pharmacological properties of the different species of animals. The tranquillizing, muscle-relaxing and analgetic qualities of xylazine are due to its action on the autonomic and central neural system. The analgesia and the tranquillizing action produced by xylazine are independent of the dosage and can last up to 1-2 hours. If the injection is intramuscularly, then its action begins after 5-15 minutes, and if the injection is intravenously, begins after 5 minutes. An extra quality of xylazine is the  intense synergia with all the tranquillizers, relieves, cataleptic and anesthesia medicines.
